On the one hand, you have to admit that I gave Dean at least two full months to type this heading himself, so he snoozed, he loosed.
My main reason for not attending 2009's Drums on the Chippewa was abject poverty, but in my defense, I also had to work all the stinking time because my brother Chris became deathly ill and was hospitalized that July, and practically the whole month after the week of the 4th, and into August was used up dealing with his illness. The stinky bastard just got out of the hospital again after being there over a week for the same thing he had last year. If he manages to remain upright, (and above ground) this coming July, I will attempt to make enough dough (yeah, I mean greenbacks and not pizza, though obviously more pizza dough means more cash) to show up, if there ends up being a 2010 Drums on the Chippewa that is. If this comes to pass, I will be pleased to exchange blows and/or insults with any ex-Sundowners I spot there.
Maybe see you this year,
Bill
